Daan A. Knottenbelt joined Palamon Capital Partners in February 2000, becoming a Partner in January 2002 and served on the Firm's Operating Committee from 2007-2011. He is a Dutch national fluent in English with a working knowledge of Spanish, French and German. He came to Palamon with six years experience in management consulting with McKinsey & Co, having worked in the UK, the USA, the Netherlands and Belgium. Mr Knottenbelt currently serves as a Trustee of the Philharmonia Trust in London and a Trustee of charity BlueSky Development and Regeneration. He graduated from Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands with an MSc in electrical engineering and undertook research work at the École Nationale Supérieure des Telecommunications in Paris. Mr Knottenbelt received an MBA from INSEAD.
