Peter Currie appointed to Board of Advisors of Palamon Capital Partners

Palamon Capital Partners, one of Europe’s leading mid-market private equity firms, has announced the appointment of Peter Currie to its Board of Advisors.
Mr Currie has had extensive business experience in senior operational management roles where he guided companies through exponential growth. He began his career with Morgan Stanley, where he worked both in Europe and the US where he specialised in the media and communications industries. He later was appointed executive vice president and chief financial officer of McCaw Cellular Communications, Inc., a position he held until its sale to AT&T. Following that, Mr Currie became the chief financial officer of internet start-up Netscape Communications which was ultimately taken public and sold to AOL. Currently Mr Currie serves as a director on the Boards of a number of public and private corporations, including Sun Microsystems and Clearwire Corporation.
Mr Currie joins eleven other accomplished business leaders on Palamon’s Board of Advisors originating from six countries and whose expertise covers the range of sectors in which the Firm invests.
