Appointment of Lorenzo Pellicioli to Board of Advisors

Palamon Capital Partners, one of Europe's leading mid-market private equity firms, is pleased to announce the appointment of Lorenzo Pellicioli to its Board of Advisors.


Lorenzo Pellicioli, 56, has led an extensive and distinguished business career with leadership positions in a variety of sectors, including media, leisure and telecommunications. He is currently CEO of the De Agostini Group, the Italian conglomerate with interests ranging from finance to publishing. As the CEO of Seat Pagine Gialle from 1997 to 2000, he led the largest and most successful leveraged buyout in Italy. He is a member of the Executive Committee and the Board of Directors of Generali Insurance and serves as Deputy Chairman on the Board of Générale de Santé. He is also Chairman of DEA Capital and Chairman and CEO of Lottomatica.


As a member of Palamon's Board of Advisors, Mr Pellicioli joins ten other highly experienced and accomplished business leaders from six countries with expertise which reflects the range of service sector companies in which Palamon invests.
