New appointments at Palamon Capital Partners

Palamon Capital Partners, one of Europe’s leading mid-market private equity firms, has strengthened its team with two further appointments. Anthony Gardner joins as Director of Structured Finance and Alexis de Dietrich joins as a Vice President.
Anthony Gardner joins Palamon from Bank of America, where he held the position of Executive Director, European Leveraged Finance. Previously he spent five years with GE, initially in business development managing M&A transactions involving GE companies across Europe and subsequently in its Leveraged Finance Group. Mr Gardner has also practised as a lawyer for eight years in Paris, London and Brussels. Mr Gardner holds a BA from Harvard College, an MPhil from Oxford University, a Juris Doctor with distinction from Columbia Law School and an MSc in Finance from London Business School.
Alexis de Dietrich joins Palamon having most recently run a family investment office in Switzerland. He was previously with Merrill Lynch International in London working in the Global Markets and Investment Banking divisions and prior to that with Société Générale Corporate and Investment Banking in Milan. Mr de Dietrich graduated from the University of St. Gallen (HSG) with a MA in Finance and Accounting and holds an MBA with distinction from INSEAD.

Based in London, the Palamon team is both multilingual and multicultural, and one of the most experienced currently operating in Europe. Palamon’s most recent investments were in German retailer, Dress-for-Less, Europe’s largest online designer fashion outlet and the Dutch company, D&D Media Group, one of the leading independent European audiovisual producers.
