New appointment at Palamon Capital Partners

Palamon Capital Partners, one of Europe’s leading mid market private equity firms, has expanded its investment team with the appointment of Jean Bonnavion.
Bonnavion, 34, has been appointed as a Vice President of Palamon effective from November 2005. He is a French national and a key part of his role will be to strengthen Palamon’s capabilities in France.
He joins Palamon from Bain & Company where he worked for eight years in London and Paris as a senior consultant. One of his key assignments whilst at Bain & Company was to perform commercial due diligence on behalf of a number of leading US and European private equity funds for deal opportunities in the UK and Continental Europe. He also led various corporate strategy and operational improvement projects.

The appointment of Jean Bonnavion increases Palamon’s investment team to twelve including nine partners. Operating out of a single office in London, Palamon’s multi-national investment team is able to target mid-market investment opportunities across the UK and Continental Europe. The firm has almost €1 billion of equity under management and has already completed investments in fifteen companies across seven different European countries.
