Palamon Capital Partners appoints new Chief Financial Officer

Palamon Capital Partners, one of Europe’s leading mid market private equity firms, announced the appointment of Ron Bell as the Firm’s Chief Financial Officer.

Bell, 48, will be responsible for developing the appropriate financial strategies and structures for Palamon and its portfolio of investments.

Bell joins Palamon from Compass Partners, where he was Financial Director for over seven years. Prior to Compass, he spent eleven years working in senior positions within the UK financial services sector, including as Finance Director of the private equity firm, Legal and General Ventures Limited and Chief Financial Officer of J. Rothschild Holdings where he was involved in the formation of two quoted investment trusts.

Commenting on his appointment, Ron Bell said, “I am delighted to be joining Palamon at such an exciting time in the firm’s development as it continues to accelerate its investment programme. I look forward to the challenges ahead.”

Mr Bell is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.
